One of the famous street food in Singapore is the banana leaf wrapped sambal BBQ stingray. I am not really a fan tho (I definitely will be crucified for saying so). Maybe perhaps, I was overwhelmed by the super spiciness or I just don't like the stingray texture. Yes, the stingray that killed the beloved Steve Irwin. This world is indeed a sadder place without him.

Anyhow, this recipe does not replicate the famous Singapore street food, but indeed it went in a different direction. The sauce is well combined. There is no need to hunt for banana leaves, all you need is an oven. And I chose white flesh fish over other types of fishes, especially stingray.

Sosok pemilik OLX Group ialah Romain Voog. Dilansir dari laman resmi OLX Group, Sabtu (28/01/2023), ia menduduki posisi sebagai Chief Executive Officer (CEO) sejak 2021 lalu. Voog mengambil alih posisi CEO OLX dari Martin Scheepbouwer, yang pensiun dari kehidupan korporat.

Voog merupakan lulusan master dari Ecole Centrale Paris. Ia memulai kariernya sebagai konsultan di Bain & Company. Karirnya pun kemudian berlanjut ke Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Sebelum menjabat sebagai CEO OLX, ia menjabat sebagai Wakil Presiden Airbnb untuk Operasi Penjualan dan Geografi Seluruh Dunia. Pengalamannya dalam menangani konsumen dunia maya juga didukung oleh sederet pengalaman kepemimpinannya, di antaranya CEO Global Fashion Group dan Presiden Amazon Prancis.

OLX Group merupakan startup jual beli yang berdiri sejak 2006. Perusahaan ini berkantor pusat di Amsterdam, Belanda, dan telah beroperasi di lebih dari 30 negara di dunia. Salah satunya Indonesia.

OLX Indonesia telah ada sejak 2014 silam. Pada masa itu, OLX mengambil alih platform jual beli online Tokobagus. Tak lama berselang, perusahaan merger dengan berniaga.com

Pada masa itu, posisi CEO OLX Indonesia dipegang oleh Daniel Tumiwa. Lalu 2 tahun kemudian, Daniel mengundurkan diri dari posisinya dan digantikan oleh Olaf Van Schagen pada 2017.

Semakin memperbesar lini bisnisnya, pada 2020 silam, OLX Indonesia mencaplok startup jual beli mobil bekas,BeliMobilGue.co.id, yang kemudian berganti nama menjadi OLX Autos. Dan pada kala itu, CEO BeliMobilGue.co.id, Johnny Widodo ditunjuk menggantikan posisi Olaf sebagai CEO OLX, hingga 2022 kemarin.

Pada Januari 2022,Lamudi.co.id dikabarkan mencaplok unit bisnis properti milik OLX. Kondisi ini merupakan buntut dari akuisisi induk Lamudi Group, Emerging Markets Property Group (EMPG), yang melakukan merger dengan OLX Group pada 2020.
